The LABRADOR CONNECTION is a copyrighted publication distributed to club members through the "Members Only" area of the club website. A login for this special directory is provided in the new member packet so that all members may access past and present copies of the Newsletter as well as a current member listing.

It is our goal to keep members current on what is happening in the Labrador community. The experience, professionalism and overall quality of the contributing authors make this publication a valuable asset and resource to our club members. The newsletter is written with the concerns of the Labrador breeder as well as the pet owner in mind.

Every effort is made by the editors to produce an interesting, up to date, diverse, educational, comprehensive, high quality newsletter. The newsletter contains primarily original articles covering a variety of topics. Respected Labrador breeders and exhibitors from around the world contribute articles that offer their unique perspective on issues related to breeding and exhibiting Labrador retrievers. Obedience experts share their knowledge and experience of dog training and socialization issues. Veterinarians cover topics relating to health issues and the latest news in genetic research. Field trainers share their views on preparing our dogs for field training. Members and other Labrador enthusiasts contribute great articles on a variety of serious, informative and sometimes very entertaining topics. A voting page is frequently included for members to vote on a variety of things. Information on how to order club shirts and other ways and means items, as well as various Labrador yearbooks from around the world, is included in each issue.
